ST CLAIR AREA FIRE DEPARTMENT

 ANNOUNCES THEIR OPEN HOUSE

September 11th, 2011 Starts 11am and Ends 4pm.

Fire Department has a busy winter storm spring day responding to numerous ice emergencies around the area. The Fire Department also assisted as needed to keep roads clear and the community safe.

The St Clair Fire Department received Grant monies to replace outdated helmets with NEW HELMETS

SEPTEMBER 2010

St Clair Area Fire Department receives a donation of $6600 from the D.T.E. Belle River Power Plant to purchase new fire pagers.

The donation is in the best interest and cooperative effort to maintain the safety of the community and the power plant through radio communications and the continued evolution and technological advancement in radio voice communication. With this donation the Fire Department will replace older, soon to be obsolete,  voice pagers with new pagers designed to meet the requirements of new fire frequency radio transmissions.

This week at the market, Bryan along with Assistant Fire Chief Erick Harrison, of The St. Clair Fire Area Fire Department, explains how to prepare Steak Wraps with fresh vegetables, rice, and cheese.

At The Market with Bryan Neiman is produced by St. Clair CTV, sponsored by the St. Clair DDA, and funded in part by Citizens First.

As result of Grant monies received the St Clair Area Fire Department Purchased as Off-Road Grass Fire / Rescue Rig. This new piece of apparatus only helps us to better serve and protect our community. This apparatus is in service and stationed at down down St Clair for easy response to our service area.

These pictures are of the New Rig taken while department personnel were conducting a training session to ensure all personnel are familiar with this new piece of equipment.

In Cooperation with the St Clair British Petroleum plant at the south end of Carney Drive,  several joint training sessions have been conducted to ensure the safety of plant personnel as well as the safety of the community. As a thanks for the Fire Departments efforts in working with BP to maintaining this high level of safety, BP has made a donation of Streamlight  flashlights to equip each firefighter on the department with a quality safe means of personal auxiliary lighting. We at the fire department cant thank enough the plant staff at BP St Clair for providing us with quality training and their professional attitudes. You Guys are GREAT thanks.
