Fire Chief Dave Westrick	Dave Westrick Fire Chief Member since : 1988 Medical Level : Medical First Responder Training : Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Fire Officer I, II, III, Hazardous Materials Operations, Medical First Responder, Confined Space Rescue Training, Ansul Fire School in Wisconsin, N.F.P.A. 921 Fire Investigation School, Arson Investigation I & II, AED, ICS, HAZWOPER ICS, Ice Rescue Tech., NFIRS, Boater Safety, ISI Viking Tech II, Natural Gas Awareness, Pyrotechnics Course, NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800. Dave also teaches incipient fire training for Detroit Edison.
1st Assistant Chief Mike Krul	Mike Krul 1st Assistant Chief Member since : 1999 Medical Level : Emergency Medical Technician - Basic Training : State and Nationally certified Firefighter I & Firefighter II, State Certified Fire Officer I & II, Incident Command System, USAF Fire Academy, USAF Advanced Rescue & Extrication , Aerospace Crash / Rescue Firefighting, Basic Wild land Firefighting, HAZMAT Operations, Confined space, Live Training Fires, Marine Safety Officer, Water Rescue, Motor Vehicle Accident Extrication, Emergency Response to terrorist incidents, EMS Instructor Coordinator, Rapid Intervention Team (RIT), N.F.P.A. 921 Fire Investigation School, Training Program design and Development, Train the Trainer, and Instructional Methodology. Mike is currently the Training Officer and in charge of Water Fire/rescue operations. He has been a Firefighter for over 22 years; in the USAF as a Aerospace Firefighting Technician (Aircraft crash fire/rescue), as a Civilian for Selfridge Fire Crash/Rescue, and for Chesterfield Twp Fire Dept. He has held many Fire service positions over the years; Lieutenant, Sergeant, Training Officer, Engineer, Crew Chief, Advanced Rescue Team, Firefighter, Dispatch Supervisor and Dispatcher. He joined the department to protect property and prevent the loss of life, and because he likes being a Firefighter! Public service is in his blood, his Father, Brother, and Uncle are all in Law Enforcement or emergency services.
