1984 Ford 8000 series completed by FTI in 1985. Powered by a turbo charged caterpillar 3208 diesel engine, 250 horsepower V8. On board water capacity of 3,000 gallons. A pumping capacity of 1,000 gallons per minute. This vehicle is used primarily to shuttle water to major rural structure fires. It carries a portable 3,000 gallon water tank, which is filled at the fire scene. This tank together with the 1,000 gallons on board Engine #32 provides 4,000 gallons of water to begin the initial fire attack, while the tanker begins it's water shuttle. With it's 1,000 gallon per minute pump it can also be used as a pumper at major fires.
